It takes about 305 Earth years for this dwarf planet to make one trip around the sun.
With a radius of approximately 444 miles (715 kilometers), Makemake is 1/9 the radius of Earth. If Earth were the size of a nickel, Makemake would be about as big as a mustard seed.
Scientists have also detected frozen methane and ethane on its surface. In fact, pellets of frozen methane as big as half an inch (1 centimeter) in diameter may rest on Makemake's cold surface.
Makemake may develop a very thin atmosphere, most likely made of nitrogen, near perihelion &mdash; when it is closest to the sun.</p>

If Earth was the size of a nickel, Pluto would be about as big as a popcorn kernel.
Pluto is about two-thirds the diameter of Earth's moon and probably has a rocky core surrounded by a mantle of water ice. Interesting ices like methane and nitrogen frost coat its surface. Due to its lower density, Pluto's mass is about one-sixth that of Earth's moon.
Pluto's surface is characterized by mountains, valleys, plains, and craters. The temperature on Pluto can be as cold as -375 to -400 degrees Fahrenheit (-226 to -240 degrees Celsius).

If Earth were the size of a nickel, Haumea would be about as big as a sesame seed.
Haumea takes 285 Earth years to make one trip around the Sun. As Haumea orbits the Sun, it completes one rotation every 4 hours, making it one of the fastest rotating large objects in our solar system.
It is possible a massive impact billions of years ago set off Haumea's spin and created its moons.

Dark, cold and whipped by supersonic winds, ice giant Neptune is the eighth and most distant planet in our solar system. More than 30 times as far from the Sun as Earth, Neptune is the only planet in our solar system not visible to the naked eye. In 2011 Neptune completed its first 165-year orbit since its discovery in 1846.
With a radius of 15,299.4 miles (24,622 kilometers), Neptune is about four times wider than Earth. If Earth were the size of a nickel, Neptune would be about as big as a baseball.
One day on Neptune takes about 16 hours (the time it takes for Neptune to rotate or spin once). And Neptune makes a complete orbit around the Sun (a year in Neptunian time) in about 165 Earth years (60,190 Earth days).
Neptune does not have a solid surface. Its atmosphere (made up mostly of hydrogen, helium and methane) extends to great depths, gradually merging into water and other melted ices over a heavier, solid core with about the same mass as Earth.
Neptune's atmosphere is made up mostly of hydrogen and helium with just a little bit of methane. Neptune's neighbor Uranus is a blue-green color due to such atmospheric methane, but Neptune is a more vivid, brighter blue, so there must be an unknown component that causes the more intense color.
Neptune is our solar system's windiest world. Despite its great distance and low energy input from the Sun, Neptune's winds can be three times stronger than Jupiter's and nine times stronger than Earth's. These winds whip clouds of frozen methane across the planet at speeds of more than 1,200 miles per hour (2,000 kilometers per hour). Even Earth's most powerful winds hit only about 250 miles per hour (400 kilometers per hour)

Its surface is dark, neutral in color, and heavily cratered. Proteus's largest crater is Pharos, which is more than 230 km (140 mi) in diameter. There are also a number of scarps, grooves, and valleys related to large craters. Proteus is the second-largest moon of Neptune and is the largest of the regular prograde moons of Neptune. It is about 420 km (260 mi) in diameter, larger than Nereid, Neptune's third-largest moon. While the proteus is generally believed to contain water and ice, what else is on the surface is determined by the spectrum meter.

TERMINUS

WHO ARE WE ?

  • We are a team of nine university students.Team name is TERMINUS . Team is composed of different departments (Engineerings,Avition Management,MIS,Health Science),so we’ve picked a project that requires different fields of expertise and different approaches to the problem.
  • We can reach Neptune and beyond , at that time we can reach all space material atour solar systems , so we can do space mining , travelling and entrepreneurship also we can open the front new experience and discovery.

WHY NEPTUNE ?

OUR GOAL

  • If you are an entrepreneur, youcan choose to do mining on the planets we are going to visit, because the planets we are planning to visit contain water, diamond, methane, ethane, coal, liquid nitrogen etc.. Also you might discover new elements along the way, bring them back and sell them!
  • If you like space exploration, we offer an opportunity for you. If you want experince this space journey with us, we will take you to Neptune and beyond!
  • Before everything begins we will send automated drones to the planets we are desiring to take you, to prepare our equipment and understand the planets we are going to take you
  • First, we take you from Orlando Int. Airport ,we take you to a hotel we have handpicked.
  • We will take you to NASA Kennedy Space Center and will run health test that are required.
  • If you can pass health tests , we will continue with the flight tests
  • But if you fail to pass our baselines in health tests, you cant continueon with the program instead you will get a full refund .
  • Then we will start you with flight tests, to prepare you for the flight.
  • After you complete your flight tests the next step is our journey together.
  • Our journey will take us 4 years approx.. 2 years on our route to Neptune and beyond, 2 years to our way back home.
  • After passing the Neptune our spacecraft will land in our outpost at Proteus , but the adventure is just starting.
  • We will have tours to Makemake , Haumea, Pluto ,Neptune , dwarf planets that are closeby at that time.
  • If you are an entrepreneur , you can choose to do space mining. If you do so you should contactwith us before you apply.
  • When we complete our journey, we will return you back to earth.
