The International Space Apps Challenge is a mass collaboration focused on space exploration that takes place over 48-hours this October 18-20 2019 in cities around the world. 

Space Apps is NASA's annual global hackathon, first held in 2012, and serves as a global innovation incubation program. The event embraces collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant open-source solutions to address global needs applicable to both life on Earth and life in space. 

Space Apps is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, and others in cities around the world, where teams engage with NASA’s free and open data to address real-world problems on Earth and in space.

The hackathon will include focus on solving problems that are closer to home such as natural disaster preparations(draughts,cyclones), alternative sources of energy, etc your imagination is the limit.
