Oceanic garbage patches are collections of marine debris that come together due to ocean currents; they have devastating effects on ocean ecosystems. Your challenge is to design a mission to help clean up garbage from the ocean!
Eye in the sky
This is the use of satellites to detect garbage in the ocean or on land and being sent to the mobile app for processing. It will then create an event at which user will come and register and collect garbage. They will be awarded with coupons.
My team uses the chat room to ask about NASA'S satellite's and how they are being utilized. I also used the links provided to enquire more about NASA'S satellite's and distance from Earth and what their functions are and if they an be of any assist to my project.
