Background:
According to research published by the National Geographic, the Great Pacific Garbage Batch comprised of the western garbage patch, which locates near Japan, and the eastern garbage patch, which situated between Hawaii and California.
At this specific moment, no scientist can provide accurate figures on how many tonnes of rubbish are there in the great pacific garbage patch. All they can tell is for that rubbish that has been picked up at sea level, about 705000 tons are fishing nets. While one adult male African elephant weight around 7 tons, there is more than a load of 1000714 elephants of rubbish in the garbage patch.

Current situation:
In recent years, more and more environmental protectors had shifted their focus from pollution on land to the problem in the ocean. There are different events where participants engaged in rubbish-picking activities on beaches all around the globe. It is always glad to see people making new changes, but what about places where we cannot set our hands-on?
Rubbish undersea can hardly be observed by plain sight due to light refraction and reflection.
Oceanic garbage can hardly be handled barely by a human.
This is when technology comes in handy~!Current situation:

Technology applied:
Vision of the robot :
1) Camera with motion sensor : Distinguish bewteen marine animals and ocean trash , the camera is for transmit video
Action of the robot :
1) Remote control : The underwater robot is controlled by people on the ship
2) A pair of arms for clipping the trash and four legs for landing and moving
Collection of trash :
1) The robot will send a message to the ship when the trash is picked , then the ship will pull it up to surface
