The project or whole idea of the web app is to help people easily understand the globe by using the NEO (NASA EARTH OBSERVATION) imagery data and the WorldWind APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), using the two the web app is able to collect imagery from NEO and add the imagery layer to the digital globe, helping it's users easily analyze data like Active Fires, Solar Insolation, Vegetation Index and more.
Challenges faced were that the WorldWind API is complex that i had to learn about it and since it was my first time hearing about it, i really had to go thoroughly through the documentation, i really loved working with it cause the things you can do with it are incredible and apart from that no other challenges were faced.
Things i would love to integrate to the project:
Open street map view.
Weather services to display weather in various countries and locations.
What was used to work on the project are:
HTML5 (HyperText Markup Language to write or draw the skeleton of your website)
CSS3 (Cascading Style Sheets used to style your markup)
JavaScript (A programming language for making your websites interactive)
NodeJS (A JavaScript run time engine for executing JavaScript out of the browser)
ExpressJS (A NodeJS framework)
Git and Github(Git is a version control system and Github is a collaboration platform that uses Git)
Firebase (For hosting the web app)
Visual Studio Code (A text editor for writing your code)
