The Challenge | Smash your SDGs!
Your challenge is to develop creative solutions that use Earth observations to address the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and foster sustainable development worldwide. Use NASA and other Earth observing satellites’ data as well as information generated by crowd-sourcing and in-situ measurements to create practical applications that support environmental and societal policy across water, health, food security and/or land use domains.

We use collected crowd sourcing data as input to add to Google earth engine (GEE). GEE is a public platform that store, manage, and process earth observation data. The final output is to monitor, detect and predict of Polluted area from illegal dumping.
The background is about making risk assessment maps from area with high risk of water pollution because of illegal dumping.
The challenge is to implement a near real-time monitoring system that can monitor illegal dumping rapidly.
The aim is to preserve environment for our next generation and reduce polution from water resources.
