The Challenge | Surface-to-Air (Quality) Mission
Your challenge is to integrate NASA data, ground-based air quality data, and citizen science data to create an air quality surface that displays the most accurate data for a location and time. Create algorithms that select or weight the best data from several sources for a specific time and location, and display that information.
Air-Quality Surface Mesh
Our surface mesh and weather store, unify air quality measures around the global and provides feedback on the confidence of readings.
Our goal is to made a system which, can do the following :
•Air quality stations send data to our centralised weather store
•Evaluate credibility/confidence of data source, weighted by:
•Comparing input against data from stations at nearby locations •Generation of detailed air quality “surface” based on most accurate/reliable air quality data.
