BACKGROUND
The past will form our future. This could be seen from the technological advancement from a mere 50 years ago to the next 10 years where living in space is not a crazy idea anymore, rather it is something to look forward to. Using data and articles from NASA, Lunaticus (Latin, lūna + ticus; of/living on the moon) was created to spark human curiosity about living on the moon.
SOLUTION
We created a website campaign (full progress can be seen in update) to build upon mankind's aspirations of a feasible habitation on the moon, hopefully inspiring many to get involved with NASA's current foray towards it. We combine data and imagery to educate the audience as well as immerse them into the idea of outer-space living.
CHALLENGES FACED
Utilising the vast variety of database from NASA was useful but also challenging to compile and there were some areas that we were going to put (for safety page) regarding mitigation of potential hazards of living on the moon. The lack of experience to code some initial ideas for creative coding (shared in update page) was also a problem as there were limited time. So, the problem was data processing and lack of concrete data for certain subjects.
