The video was rendered in Unreal Engine.
I started out mixing samples with synthesizers and other instruments, but then I decided to try to make a song using only samples. It came out sounding a little empty, but it was a fun project :)
I found the Sputnik beep and the "hi" morse code audio to be especially helpful for making musical notes.
