The Challenge | Build a Planet

Your challenge is to create a game that will allow players to customize the characteristics of a star and design planets that could reasonably exist in that star system. Ensure that this game provides an educational experience for players!

Build-A-Planet Interactive Cook Book

A small demo app using Mockplus, to have fun building an Exoplanet that may host Life! (With love, from Nicaragua!)

Project’s Name: Build-A-Planet Interactive Cook Book.

Project Description:

This project was made using Mockplus agile developing framework. It contains a working prototype to review the flow of the game, screens, controls, and information provided to the user. It is meant to be run in OSX or iOS platform, but it may be transported to Android as well in a future working version.

Wait! What? Don't you have an OSX/iOS device? No problem! I gotcha covered! There is a downloadable HTML version available for you!

Due the use of the Mockplus tool, a working RESULT screen is not possible to be shown within the prototype. That has to be added when transported and coded properly.

The main challenge was to provide enough information to the player so it may not become overwhelmed with technical jargon, while trying to keep it simple... well... the best I was able to achieve.

Understanding of the dynamics of planetary formation models and systems is not an easy task to obtain in a small app, but links will be provided later to official NASA's websites. For the moment, information have been placed from such sites, and a tiny portion written directly by me. (I happen to be an amateur astronomer too)
