DANDELION PROJECT (Old Idea)
What we do?
We built small probes to increase the area of analysis with less resources and more mobility.
How?
Spreading out during the landing of a control probe, small spheres with diverse sensors creating a grid of analysis and control. Each of the spheres communicates with each other creating a communication line with the control, which will send the data. With AI, they will have some autonomy to search and analyze different areas of the planet. In another situation, where there is no minimum gravity like asteroids, the same design can be thought differently instead of spheres, darts, removing mobility but increasing the area of analysis.
Why?
Probes today are tied to small search areas and have a high cost. We want to increase this area and decrease the cost.
Probes have problems!
Unexpected occurs and they cost millions and everything can be thrown away.
To solve this we think of the DANDELIONPROJECT that, just like a dandelion, we will spread several sphere probes.
They will be simpler and cheaper. And if one cannot complete an analysis, it can supplement with the data from nearby probes using machine learning.
Creating a communication network, increasing the area of analysis and improving the collected data.
