Update! The 2019 Space Apps Challenge Edmonton chapter was a success! We had a total of 8 teams, one of which chose an international NASA challenge while the other seven chose national Canadian Space Agency (CSA) challenges!

The following teams will be moving on to the Canadian national competition:

Welcome to the Edmonton, Alberta 2019 Space Apps Challenge webpage!

We are very excited to host our second annual Space Apps Challenge with NASA and the CSA! Join us on October 18th for a weekend of innovation and fun -- Space is limited so sign up fast!

In order to participate in the Space Apps Challenge:

(1) you should pre-register for the challenge by clicking on the blue "Register" button at the top right of the main webpage. Although we do accept walk-ups on the day of the event, pre-registrants are given priority and you risk not being able to participate should we reach maximum capacity.

(2) you must confirm your registration in person prior to the opening ceremony (in-person registration confirmation: October 18th 1700h-1800h)

(3) you must submit your team list and chosen challenge by October 18th 2000h after the brainstorming event. 

(4) your team must be present on October 20th 1200h-1500h for the final presentations and winners announcement.
