Los invitamos a compartir un fin de semana lleno de creatividad e ingenio este 18, 19 y 20 de octubre en el Liceo Panamericano sede Samborondón, donde se llevará a cabo el NASA Space Apps Challenge 2019.

Este evento internacional se desarrolla simultáneamente a manera de "Hackathon" -maratón de hackers- en más de 200 ciudades alrededor del mundo, convocando a entusiastas de las áreas de Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería, Arte y Matemáticas (STEAM) a formar equipos para interactuar con datos de la plataformas de la NASA y plantear soluciones a desafíos científicos en la Tierra y en el espacio.

¿Porqué asistir?

Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de reunirse con otros estudiantes y con profesionales de diversas áreas (diseñadores, programadores, ingenieros, emprendedores y científicos) que estarán ofreciendo charlas, conferencias y mentorías para potenciar sus ideas.

Los dos mejores equipos representarán al cantón Samborondón en el segmento internacional de Space Apps. Estos equipos recibirán asesoría para crear un plan de acción, conectarse con inversionistas y desarrollar sus propuestas.

Los ganadores internacionales serán invitados a asistir al despegue de una misión espacial en el Kennedy Space Center.

Register to Join the first edition of NASA SPACE APPS CHALLENGE - Samborondón, Ecuador!

We invite you to join us for a weekend full of creativity and innovation this October 18, 19 and 20 at Liceo Panamericano in Samborondón, where the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2019 will take place.
This international event is held simultaneously as a "Hackathon" - hacker + marathon - in more than 200 cities around the world, gathering enthusiasts from the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) to form teams and interact with data from the NASA platform and come up with solutions to scientific challenges of the Earth and space.

Why attend?

Participants will have the opportunity to meet with other students and professionals from various areas (designers, programmers, engineers, entrepreneurs and scientists) who will be offering talks, conferences and mentoring to enhance their solution proposals.

The two best teams will represent Samborondón in the international Space Apps segment. These teams will receive advice to create an action plan, connect with investors and develop their ideas.

International winners will be invited to attend the launch of a space mission at the Kennedy Space Center.
