Welcome to the Tampa Bay 2019 Space Apps Challenge! Using NASA-provided data, select and tackle a challenge over 48 hours. We'll bring the place, tools, food, prizes and swag. You bring the creativity and enthusiasm! Did we mention this is completely free for participants?
The event runs non-stop beginning at 4:00 PM on Oct 18 through 4:00 PM on Oct 20. Many of the tools and workshops at Tampa Hackerspace will be available for teams to prototype and design their solutions.
You'll be well fed throughout the event. Check back to find out who is catering the meals. We'll have snacks available around the clock.
We are capping the number of participants. Don't procrastinate on registration if you plan to attend.

Oct 8 Update: I'm pleased to announce we've selected our judges for the event! We'd like to thank Sarrah Vesselov, Tim Ingold, and Tracy Ingram for generously offering to be part of this event.
Sarrah Vesselov is a Director at Women Who Code. She does UX/UI work locally and is very active in the local startup community. All this while also starting a new boardgaming cafe in downtown Zephyrhills.
Tim Ingold, as Senior Director of Marketing & Sales Acceleration, leads Jabil’s Blue Sky Innovation Center in the heart of Silicon Valley. His team collaborates with innovators around the globe to inventory, understand, and socialize strategic technology and engineering investments with Jabil’s people, their customers, suppliers, and partners. In his 20 years at Jabil, he has been an agent of change leading impactful programs to address broad business challenges in strategic development, process efficiency, globalization, financial control, institutional learning, marketing, and communications.
Tracy Ingram, known locally as a Bioinformatics Guru, has previously provided international tech support for multiple biomedical device companies. Winner of many local hackathons Serial Entrepreneur and finalist in the XPRIZE. He is also experienced as a marketer with background and expertise that includes extensive experience in SEO, inbound marketing and analytics. As a long time support of Tampa Hackerspace, he also helped us successfully complete our initial crowdfunding effort.
