Our very first event! NASA International Space Apps Challenge 2019 in Sapporo.
It is our honor to host Space Apps Challenge, a global hackathon in which teams work together to solve problems and make open-source solutions to challenges we have on the Earth and in space.
Software developers, engineers, designers, scientists, makers, technologists, planners and anyone with a passion and creative mind is welcome to join.
For this event, NASA designs challenges, and attending teams work intensively to design solutions during 48-hour period.
Two winning teams from each location will be nominated for global challenge. The teams will create a short demo video of their projects, and NASA will judge and choose finalists among them.
