Global Nominees
We wish our global nominees the best of luck!

Hello London Space Cadets,
Space Apps Challenge returns to London in 2019!
Like-minded creative and enthusiastic people from across the UK and globe will work across the weekend to find innovative solutions to one or more of the Space Apps challenges. They might be websites, mobile applications, electronic gadgets, clothing or a well-presented idea, but the solutions that the London teams come up with will be competing with locations around the globe to win NASA’s International Space Apps Challenge.
The best teams at Space Apps are made of people with different skills. It's not only techies... Creative, technical or simply enthusiastic; everyone is invited. So don't be put off thinking you might not be "geeky" enough; you might be the one to turn your team's idea from average to awesome!

A few year's ago, one of our London winners went on to the Global Competition and won! Canaria now has a commercial product. Details can be found here >> https://open.nasa.gov/innovation-space/canaria/.

Registration is now open. Sign up and register and we'll see you on October 18-20!
Important Information for Registered Participants
- Pivotal, our venue host will issue everyone aQR code which will use as a pass for the ticket barriers before the lift. This will be sent to youvia email. At certain times (especially later Friday evening and Saturday, Sunday, even with the QR code, a pass is needed to get into the building - we will have someone for that to meet you downstairs). A phone number to contact has been sent to all participants.
- Participants are allowed to stay overnight at the venue on Friday night and Saturday night, so bring your sleeping bags (or anything similar if you think you will be napping at some point). We know some of you are not planning to sleep Saturday night!
- There will be coffee/tea/drinks (non-alcoholic) and light snacks throughout the hackathon.
- Dinner, Breakfast, Lunch will also be served.
- There are no shower facilities (if you have been to multi-day hackathons before, this is nothing new)
- If you are coming by bike, you will have to find parking as the bike parking space in the building are for tenants only.
- Any other question, message us via your Space Apps Dashboard.
Your Space Apps Dashboard
Please make sure you can navigate your dashboard, in preparation for the event. You should have received an email similar to this when you signed up - which would have been sent from noreply@spaceappschallenge.org.

Via your dashboard you will see an Offers section which lists some of the offers from some companies who are supporting Space Apps.

The Challenges
Every year the team at NASA Space Apps poses several challenges for teams to choose from and work on. This year's challenges can be found here >> https://2019.spaceappschallenge.org/challenges/.
There's also a graphical representation of the Challenges as well. As you can see there are lots to choose from, so we're pretty sure you'd find lots of inspiration for the weekend! See it here.
